Aloha

Aloha
Feburary started out great!!Mike and I along with his brother, Mark and wife, Holly, went to Hawaii. Holly's family owns a condo at Turtle Bay....what a blast. We were right on the golf course and less than a stone's throw from the beach. Poor Mike ruptured his eardrum 2 days before we left, so he could not get into the water. We, however, didn't let that stop the rest of us. The waves were great!!! I would love to say we surfed all day, but like I said, the waves were great...meaning huge and too scary. We had wonderful food, fun and lots of sun....I still am such a sun worshipper! The guys golfed and golfed and golfed. I just love Hawaii. What a great place to spend our 37th anniversary.

Lion King

Lion King
In January we took a great trip to Las Vegas. There was a local special for the Lion King show so we all flew in from Texas and Utah to spend the weekend with Korryn. Our seats were great! The show was outstanding!! Fantastic Sushi for dinner...good thing they knew what to order!!! All in all, it was a wonderful weekend....girls only, no husbands and no kids!!!

The Birthday Boy....Finally a Teenager!!!!

What is a teenager????
A teenager is thought to be a mammal that is found extensively throughout the planet, often clustered in groups in front of television sets. Thought to be a member of Homo Sapiens due to physical similarities, though social and emotional behavior leads many researchers to consider Teenagers to be a completely different species altogether. Very territorial.
Teenagers are extraordinarily social animals, seeking contact with their peer groups to such a great extent they will forgo family, chores, food, and responsibility. The males of the species forage for food constantly and can consume three times their weight every day. When in full plumage, the males are usually drab, marked by loose fitting garments which slide off their backsides and look ridiculous.
Kaide and Mike went on a road trip to California over the Spring Break. According to the stories they had a great time...golfing, watching the NBA Kings, eating out!!!
What a fun way to celebrate Kaide's 13th birthday!.

Saying Goodbye---2005-2010

Today is my last day in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Davis Hospital and Medical Center. I have worked there for about 5 years and have absolutely loved it. Dr. Olsen, Humiston, West and Cody are fantastic...Not only great docs but real down to earth people. I can't say enough about the staff. The teamwork, knowledge and "fun" I have experienced is like nothing else! I have grown to love and respect each one not only as someone I worked with but like a member of my family. "Breaking up is hard to do"...I guess in a way that is what I am doing...anyway, saying goodbye is really, really hard! So! Back to the Emergency Department I go....sad but looking forward!!!!!

There is nothing better than being a grandparent!!!

What Is a Grandma?
A grandma is warm hugs and sweet memories. She remembers all of your accomplishments and forgets all of your mistakes. She is someone you can tell your secrets and worries to, and she hopes and prays that all your dreams come true. She always loves you, no matter what. She can see past temper tantrums and bad moods, and makes it clear that they don't affect how precious you are to her. She is an encouraging word and a tender touch. She is full of proud smiles. She is the one person in the world who loves you with all her heart, who remembers the child you were and cherishes the person you've become. ~Barbara Cage~

Although I have really enjoyed our 5 daughters, I must now declare that the true apple of my eye is and always will be our first born .....granddaughter that is....Dallyn Mikael. As you can tell, Dallyn helped me write this. I just love it when each of the grandkids think they are the favorite...Guess we are doing something right!!!

Too many Daughters

This is the Kemski family! Kelly, our 3rd girl and the second twin, married Mike in 1997. They have 2 girls, Dallyn (15) and Ezrie (10). They live in TEXAS...FOR NOW...hopefully returning to Utah soon. Mike is self employed and Kelly works for Delta Airlines.

This is the Glover Family! Korryn, our 4th daughter met Chet while attending and cheering at Dixie State and got married in 2000. They have two boys Cooper(4)and Beckham(3). Currently they live in Las Vegas, NV. Chet is an attorney doing civil litigation. As for Korryn, most of her time is spent taking care of the boys. In her spare time she teaches several classes at 24 Hour Fitness. The boys love to ride their bikes, scooters and skateboards.
